Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs: Orders
-
How your order arrives depends on what you’ve ordered and where you live. First of all, prints…
All prints will arrive in a cardboard tube. Prints will be rolled into the tube and wrapped in tissue paper.
If you live outside the UK, the ends of your tubes will be stapled on to reduce the risk of any issues during shipping. We advise completely removing the staples from one end before you remove the lid. Leaving bits of staples sticking out makes it much more likely that you will damage your prints when removing them from their tube. The best way to remove the staples is with pliers.
If you have ordered a painting, this will arrive in a cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by stuffing to prevent it moving around too much while it’s on its way to you.
-
If your order arrives in a tube with staples, please completely remove the staples from one end before you remove the lid. The best way to remove the staples is with pliers.
Once the lid is off your tube, there should be excess tissue paper for you to gently pull, removing the prints inside. Slowly remove the contents of the tube, allow your prints to unfurl themselves, and recycle the wrapping paper.
For paintings, please carefully remove the bubble wrap and any other packaging.
-
Initially, yes, your prints will have a curl once they are removed from the tube. However, please be assured that once your prints are framed (more info on framing below), the paper will flatten out.
-
When your order was shipped you should have received a link to track it (please check your junk/spam folder if not). If for some reason you did not receive this email please contact us at support@ameliajayneart.com
For international orders, you will be taken to Royal Mail’s tracking website (the national courier of the UK). There will be some limited information on there; however to see more please click ‘continue tracking’ where you will be taken to your own national courier’s website. Firstly, we’re sorry to hear this. We do as much as we can to ensure prints arrive in pristine condition, however unfortunately some do get damaged in transport. In this instance, please send us a photo of the damaged tube and/or print(s) to support@ameliajayneart.com and we will resolve the issue.
-
We’re really sorry for the mix-up. While it’s rare, mistakes can occasionally happen. Please email us at support@ameliajayneart.com with a photo of the print you received, and we will send the correct item or offer a refund. You are welcome to keep the incorrect print, or gift it to a friend.

FAQs: Products
-
Everything that is made by Amelia Jayne is made at Wimbledon Art Studios in London.
-
The main difference is that our Permanent Collection prints won’t sell out; whereas our Limited Edition prints are limited to a set quantity.
Limited Edition prints are numbered (e.g. 1/50) and hand-signed by Amelia. Prints in our Permanent Collection are not.
-
No. Once prints in our Limited Edition collection are sold out, they won’t be re-stocked. This is to maintain the exclusivity of the collection.
-
All prints are printed on matte paper (i.e. not glossy). We use museum-grade paper that is 315gsm (about 4.5x as dense as ‘standard’ paper).
-
For paintings, sizes will be on the product page and given in both metric and imperial measurements (cms and inches)
For prints, we typically uses British ‘A’ sizes, ranging from A1 (the largest) to A4 (the smallest). For more info, please see our size guide: https://www.ameliajayne.com/size-guide
Please note that for prints that have a border, sizes include the border.
