Commission a Table Scene

Commissioning a piece is a chance to turn a personal memory, gathering, or much-loved table scene into an original painting made just for you. Whether it’s a dinner party, a special celebration, or a beautifully messy table after the laughter, Amelia’s commissions capture the feeling of a moment in her signature style.

Please note that due to high demand, Amelia will be selecting the commissions that feel most aligned with her work and style, and the pieces she feels most excited to bring to life.

Depending on the size of the commission the lead time is currently 2-3 months.

The Process

If your commission is selected, Amelia will be in touch via email to discuss the details further and provide a tailored quote, including any shipping and handling costs.

Step 1

Amelia will begin by developing the visual direction for your commission, which may include creating and photographing a table scene to help bring the idea to life. From there, she will create an initial sketch for your approval. At this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to request any changes or adjustments before the painting begins. Once the sketch has been approved, a 50% deposit of the total commission cost will be required to secure the piece.

Step 2

Once the sketch and deposit have been approved, Amelia will begin painting your commission. She can send progress updates along the way if desired, allowing you to see the piece gradually come to life. At this stage, Amelia will work in her signature style, carefully bringing together the details, colours, and feeling of your chosen table scene.

Once you are happy with your commission, the remaining 50% balance will be requested. Your painting will then be carefully packaged and shipped via DHL Express to ensure safe and secure delivery. Alternatively, you are very welcome to collect your commission in person from Amelia’s studio in Wimbledon, London.
